FOTD with Charlotte Tilbury

Today I tried out an eye look with my Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita quad. Now I’m not experienced AT ALL with applying eyeshadow. I’m still practicing so this is far from perfect, but I think it’s quite decent compared to some of the looks I’ve tried in the past (see ‘horrendous’ in the dictionary). I’ve written a previous post with swatches of her shadows that you can check out below.

I used the Prime color on my inner half of the eyelid and inner corner, Pop on the other half of the lid and Smoke for the outer V. The color pop didn’t go on as easily as I would have liked, it was kind of gritty with some glittery fallout, unfortunately. Still a beautiful color. Maybe I’ll try it wet next time.

I used the Colour Chameleon eyeshadow pencil in Dark Pearl to outline my top and bottom lash line – it blends in with the rest of the shadows since it’s brown, so it’s kind of hard to spot but it is a gorgeous, gorgeous color.

Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blusher in Ecstasy I applied on my cheeks, with the swish color lightly applied to my cheekbones and pop applied to the apple of my cheeks.

I lightly applied a couple strokes of Charlotte’s Bar of Gold just above my blush.

I paired Charlotte’s Lip Lustre gloss in Seduction on top of my Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Touchable Taupe.

Foundation: Revlon Nearly Naked in Warm Beige & Sonia Kashuk Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Honey
Mascara: Guerlain Cils D’enfer Maxi Lash (my favorite mascara thus far)
Brows: Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony

Thanks for checking this out and hope you enjoy!
